Week Ten – (05/02-05/07) – 2011

We wrapped up the last invitation meets of the season this past weekend. Thanks to all the athletes who helped at the Shoreline Invitational. Much appreciated! This week is the last week of our “dual meet” season, and for some athletes this is the final week of competition. Unfortunately I dropped us from the freshman championship. It was a late add to our schedule and district transportation was not available. If we could not travel safely as a team, I did not feel it was a benefit to the program. All athletes in good standing will compete at the Shoreline City Championship on Friday.

Next week – we move into the Championship portion of the season with the WESCO championships in Oak Harbor. This is a two day meet on Wednesday and Friday. The following week is the 3A District One championship meet at Shoreline Stadium. Same format as the district meet, two day meet on Wednesday and Friday. The top three finishers at the district meet will qualify for the State Championship meet.
